Position Overview:
As an OBGYN Appointment Coordination Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of patient scheduling and care delivery within our practice. Your responsibilities will encompass organizing, managing, and enhancing the patient experience from initial contact through surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and oversee patient appointments to optimize provider schedules and ensure timely care.
2. Provide direct administrative and clinical assistance to healthcare providers, enhancing the efficiency of patient visits.
3. Prepare for patient consultations, assist during examinations, and support in-office procedures.
4. Follow up with patients to schedule additional care or procedures, addressing their needs effectively.
5. Train and mentor new Clinical Medical Assistants (CMAs), ensuring all competencies are verified by the RN Supervisor.
6. Offer support to other Medical Assistants and surgery schedulers as needed, maintaining a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED - Required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration - Preferred.
