Role of a Project ManagerAs a Project Manager, you will be pivotal in fostering effective communication with clients to ensure project success. Your duties will encompass overseeing the initiation of new projects and components, working closely with Engineering to guarantee seamless execution. You will also be responsible for precise data entry into ERP systems such as ProShop and Sage X3, as well as maintaining the integrity of engineering documentation, including model and print management. Furthermore, you will engage with clients regarding commercial and scheduling aspects of the manufacturing process, thereby enhancing relationships and promoting operational efficiency.
Qualifications for the Project Manager PositionTo thrive in the Project Manager role at Roush Yates Racing Engines, candidates should hold a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for an Engineering Degree or a related BA/BS Degree. Familiarity with blueprints and tolerancing is beneficial. Ideal candidates will possess extensive manufacturing knowledge, covering machining, coatings, assembly, and various specialized processes. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and effective problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this position.
Attention to detail is crucial, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word. Candidates should demonstrate mid to advanced computer skills to navigate multiple software tools effectively.
Safety is a priority; therefore, adherence to established safety protocols is mandatory. Additionally, candidates must meet minimum vision standards, corrected or uncorrected, as specified. For compliance with ITAR regulations, all employees must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
