Key Responsibilities:
As a Front Desk Agent, your duties will include:
- Welcoming guests and managing room assignments.
- Issuing room keys and providing necessary instructions.
- Handling incoming correspondence and tracking messages.
- Facilitating communication through various channels.
- Responding to guest inquiries regarding hotel amenities, check-in procedures, and local attractions.
- Maintaining accurate records of room availability and pricing.
- Processing guest bills, collecting payments, and providing change as needed.
- Managing reservations through multiple communication methods.
- Posting charges to guest accounts when necessary.
- Arranging transportation and entertainment bookings for guests.
- Safeguarding guest valuables in the hotel safe.
- Utilizing office software effectively.
- Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of nightly operations, including audits.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Familiarity with the Opera property management system is advantageous.
- Strong command of the English language for effective communication.
- Attention to detail in reporting and documentation.
- Ability to assist with various administrative tasks as required.
- Willingness to participate in mandatory meetings.
- Commitment to completing projects with professionalism and thoroughness.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and adapt to change.
- Dedication to personal and professional development.
- Strong mathematical and computer skills.
- Relevant experience and education are preferred.
- CPR and first aid certification are a plus.
