About the Role:

As a Senior Procurement Business Partner at Takeda, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into procurement activities, providing challenges to demand or specification where relevant. You will work closely with the Procurement Category Management Teams and co-located Procurement Business Partners to ensure the correct balance of resources is utilized to deliver projects.

You will monitor progress of requests and provide regular scheduled updates to business requestors. Additionally, you will manage compliance with procurement responsibilities in line with local business requirements, with a focus on meeting the agreed local business.

This role requires a strong understanding of procurement principles and frameworks, as well as experience in category management, sourcing, and cost control. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into procurement activities
  • Provide challenges to demand or specification where relevant
  • Work closely with Procurement Category Management Teams and co-located Procurement Business Partners
  • Monitor progress of requests and provide regular scheduled updates
  • Manage compliance with procurement responsibilities in line with local business requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree level educated with business related degree preferable
  • 5+ years of relevant Sourcing & Procurement experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of procurement principles and frameworks
  • Experience in category management, sourcing, and cost control
  • Proven financial and business acumen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post graduate business-related qualification
  • Demonstrated ability in collating, organizing, analyzing and reporting complex financial data
  • Documented international strategic sourcing, category management and / or cost reduction experience
