About the Role

Genezen is seeking a highly skilled Sourcing and Procurement Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, leading a team of procurement specialists, and ensuring compliance with cGMP guidelines and departmental policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage GMP procurement of materials, leading a team of procurement specialists.
  • Review historical trends on GMP inventory and take necessary actions to maximize spending efficiency and minimize risk of stockout.
  • Oversee supplier freight and expedite costs.
  • Select and manage performance of vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery data.
  • Owner of Vendor Change Notification process, ensuring receipt, communication, cross-functional assessment, and action is taken prior to receiving post-change materials.
  • Coordinate Supplier Corrective Action Request and communicate feedback.
  • Responsible for maintenance of Item Master Data in Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Meet with internal customers to assess needs and create forecasts.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Finance, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Planning/Scheduling, and Warehouse.
Requirements
  • BS/MS degree in business or related field (e.g., Business Management, Supply Chain, or Finance).
  • APICS Certification (preferred).
  • 5-7 years of relevant GMP experience in pharma/biotech company, working within a quality system and regulated GMP environment.
  • Management experience.
  • Well-versed in cGMP/ICH/FDA/EU regulations and guidelines.
  • 5+ years experience working with ERP systems.
  • Strong people leadership and development qualities.
  • Excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as working effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change, such as but not limited to ideas, responsibilities, and strategies.
  • Analytical problem-solving.
