Position Overview

WTWH Media is in search of a driven and enthusiastic B2B Media/Events Account Manager with a minimum of 2 years' experience in B2B sales, ideally within the hospitality or media sectors. This role is pivotal in generating revenue for the FRH product suite, focusing on cultivating a pipeline of new clients, addressing inbound inquiries, and expanding existing accounts. The selected candidate will manage a designated territory, primarily centered around the PMQ Pizza Publication.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Identify and pursue new accounts, particularly suppliers and partners associated with independent/small pizza operators.
  • Participate in foodservice and pizza-centric conferences to seek new business opportunities.
  • Act as the primary contact for the sales department regarding the assigned brand(s), handling incoming calls and general email inquiries as needed.
  • Engage in outbound communication through calls and emails targeting specific vertical markets.
  • Collaborate with vertical brand leaders and management on cross-vertical proposals and account relationships as necessary.
  • Maintain and nurture leads within the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Onboard clients and ensure deliverables are met following executed engagement agreements.
  • Evaluate lead quality and schedule appointments with prospects as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team on invoicing and billing matters.
  • Conduct research to support the sales pipeline development, including company searches and market trend analysis.
  • Provide feedback from leads and customers to relevant departments within the organization.
  • Assist management, events, marketing, and custom content teams as required.
  • Create engagement letters and follow up with clients regarding project requirements and order status.
  • Identify and address client issues, proposing solutions to management.
  • Prepare for and participate in weekly/monthly sales reporting and meetings.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of successful B2B sales experience.
  • A college degree (preferred) or a certificate in sales/marketing.
  • A commitment to driving sales and revenue growth while providing exceptional client service.
  • Strong judgment and high standards as a sales professional.
  • The ability to adhere to established processes and procedures.
  • A proactive approach with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
  • A professional demeanor in personality, appearance, and work output.
  • The capability to set and achieve goals while maintaining integrity.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to quickly build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in outbound phone sales.
  • A proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within small teams.
  • A quick learning ability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with a consultative, solution-based sales approach.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software and proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Suite.
  • A basic understanding of sales performance metrics.
