WTWH Media is on the lookout for a proactive and enthusiastic B2B Media/Events Account Manager with a minimum of 2 years' experience in B2B sales, ideally within the hospitality or media sectors. This role is pivotal in generating revenue within the FRH product suite, focusing on building a robust pipeline of new clients, managing incoming inquiries, and expanding existing accounts.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious, self-driven, and exhibit a strong initiative, showcasing their expertise in selling online advertising, custom content, webinars, newsletters, and lead generation solutions. Effective communication skills are essential, both in writing and verbally, particularly through presentations utilizing PowerPoint and other multimedia tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new accounts, particularly suppliers and partners serving independent/small pizza operators.
- Participate in foodservice and pizza-specific conferences to scout for new business opportunities.
- Act as the primary contact for the sales department regarding assigned brands, addressing incoming calls and general inquiries as needed.
- Engage in outbound communication via calls and emails targeting specific market segments.
- Collaborate with brand leaders and management on cross-vertical proposals and account management as necessary.
- Maintain and nurture leads within the designated CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Oversee the onboarding process and follow up on deliverables post-execution of engagement agreements.
- Evaluate lead quality and schedule meetings with prospects as appropriate.
- Coordinate with the accounting team on invoicing and billing matters.
- Conduct market research to support the sales pipeline development, staying informed about industry trends and new offerings.
- Provide feedback from leads and customers to relevant departments within the organization.
- Assist management, events, marketing, and custom content teams as required.
- Draft engagement letters and follow up with clients regarding project requirements and order status.
- Identify client issues and propose solutions to management for resolution.
- Prepare for and participate in weekly/monthly sales reporting and meetings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in B2B sales with a proven track record of success.
- Preferred college degree or certification in sales/marketing.
- Dedication to driving sales growth and providing exceptional client service.
