Job Summary

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a highly skilled Client Services Specialist to join our Client Services team. Our team is responsible for maintaining a robust and efficient trading platform that includes configuring, monitoring, and optimizing our trading as well as handling risk, regulatory, and development tasks in a live trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor order flow from HRT's clients to ensure seamless trading operations.
  • Respond to external market alerts and outages to minimize trading disruptions.
  • Interface with clients and other external parties to support trading activities.
  • Support the desk's communication around equity executions protocols to ensure accurate trade execution.
  • Address questions and concerns around fills, orders, or trades in response to client inquiries.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and HRT's internal teams and infrastructure to resolve trading-related issues.
  • Contribute to rotational team-wide production management coverage to ensure 24/7 trading support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, business, or computer science.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting a trading desk or in a similar role.
  • Understanding of on-exchange, off-exchange, and OTC products.
  • Experience supporting trading systems, preferably electronic trading.
  • Series 7/57 certification.
  • Experience supporting client-facing business operations.
