Cygnus Professionals Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all connected services and other controller/ECU's, ensuring low defects and high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defect Management: Conduct daily defect triage meetings with leadership teams, prioritize defects, and assign tasks to responsible teams.
- Supplier Interactions: Analyze defects, interact with suppliers, and coordinate testing activities.
- Test Planning and Management: Plan and manage testing activities, including component testing, SIT testing, and SAT testing.
- Test Results Management: Manage in-house test results and supplier test results, ensuring high-quality data.
- Project Testing Completeness: Ensure project testing completeness, high-severity defect tracing, and breakdown.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare testing and defect burndown charts, brief leadership teams, and gather feedback.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAN, J1939, and UNIX basics.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience with hands-on bench testing in the automotive field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
