team through our employee recognition programs Job Description:The Sanitation Supervisor role at the Chicago location supports sanitation projects, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:Enforcing all company policies and plant rules, to include but not limited to problem solving, development & implementation of standard operating procedures while maintaining working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.Recommending measures to improve sanitation methods, equipment performance, and quality of product and safety environment in the workplace.Executing on measurable performance standards for facility sanitation and periodic cleaningResolving personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action which includes administering discipline, corrective action and coaching as needed. Supporting sanitation through development of daily schedules, allocating labor, and adjusting as needed based on resources and supervising janitorial staff.Important Details: This is a full-time on-site role supporting 3rd shift plant sanitation needs, with some schedule flexing required, as needed.About You:You'll fit right in if you have:Strong knowledge of Master Sanitation schedules, pest control, sanitation effectiveness, and environmental monitoringBasic understanding of microbiological organisms and their impact on sanitary designStrong communication skills at all levels of management Previous supervisory experience, especially in a manufacturing environment - sanitation in food manufacturing is a plus
