SBM Management is seeking a Sanitation Operations Supervisor. The Sanitation Operations Supervisor will oversee the assignment and direct management of sanitation staff to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of designated areas. This role involves inspecting locations, equipment, and working conditions to guarantee adherence to sanitation and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the tasks of personnel within the Sanitation program.
  • Train and guide staff on their duties, safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure that sanitation services fulfill the requirements of the site.
  • Provide custodial staff with the necessary tools and supplies to perform their duties effectively.
  • Distribute supplies to custodial staff as required.
  • Conduct regular assessments of quality, service, and safety in assigned areas, reporting findings with a focus on necessary repairs.
  • Evaluate and suggest new sanitation supplies and equipment through testing.
  • Ensure that specified contract services are delivered by the contractor through work inspections.
  • Notify the immediate supervisor of any noted deficiencies or issues in work performance.
  • Report employee and customer concerns to the supervisor.
  • Immediately report accidents and incidents to the supervisor.
  • Execute management responsibilities in alignment with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, plan, assign, and direct work.
  • Ensure that each team member adheres to SBM policies and procedures.
  • Promote operational excellence through training, coaching, discipline, and support of team members.
  • Address complaints and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ensure staff are adequately trained on tasks and safety protocols.
  • Monitor staff for appropriate use of personal protective equipment and supplies.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions in areas needing improvement.
  • Review and maintain employee records, including attendance and performance metrics.
  • Address at-risk behaviors and report them to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of two to three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, such as an A.A. Degree with 2+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) with at least one year of related experience and/or training.
  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus.
Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 per year

Shift: D shift: Wednesday - Saturday, 5:00PM - 5:00AM
