Manufacturing client near Hobbs, NM is seeking a Controller to oversee entire functions and
financial health of their organization. This senior accounting position is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, providing financial leadership, and safeguarding financial assets. This position DOES NOT offer remote accessibility. Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.Oversee the budgeting process, including forecasting, setting financial goals, and monitoring performance.Work with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization's overall goals.Manage accounting staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.Ensure regulatory compliance, including tax planning and reporting.Maintain strong relationships with external auditors.Stay abreast of current accounting standards and best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred).Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in accounting software and financial modeling tools.
