Key Responsibilities encompass the following tasks. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
50% Plan, execute, and document all compliance and operational audits, including comprehensive reports and documentation of Management's feedback.
Operational areas necessitating an annual audit based on regulatory requirements, internal policies, risk evaluations, etc.
These areas include but are not limited to:
Funds/Wire Transfers; Investments; Interest Rate Risk Management; Bank Secrecy/Anti-Money Laundering/Office of Foreign Assets Control/Customer Identification Program; Loans/Loan Operations; Mortgage Servicing; Deposits/Deposit Operations; Information Technology/Information Systems; Automated Clearing House/SWACHA; Electronic Banking; ATMs & ITMs; Financial Privacy & Customer Information Security.
On a quarterly basis, communicate the outcomes of audit activities in writing and verbally to the Board of Directors.25% Stay fully informed of management's goals for the bank and its affiliates. Support management in pinpointing risk areas and in creating systems and controls to mitigate risk.
Conduct audit activities in alignment with management's overarching objectives and provide recommendations when vulnerabilities or risks are detected regarding: (1) internal control frameworks and safeguards, (2) regulatory and legal adherence, (3) accounting frameworks, (4) policies & procedures, and (5) customer service standards.
20% Special projects, including assisting external auditors and regulatory inspectors. Ensure timely completion of special projects and reports to management and the Board of Directors.
5% Engage in business development and community service initiatives. Participate in the bank's business development efforts and in at least two community organizations.

Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution; or three to five years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
