The Community Employment Department supports individuals in obtaining and maintaining employment, ensuring individualized goals are met and supports set in place. 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as the Employment Services Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our community outreach and employment initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others succeed and a strong background in program development, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for community outreach and employment programs that align with the organization's mission and goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to identify opportunities to expand and enhance our programs
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of a team of program staff
  • Monitor program outcomes and progress towards goals, and make adjustments as needed to ensure program success
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, and government agencies to facilitate program partnerships and collaboration
  • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability
  • Produce regular reports and presentations for senior leadership on program performance and outcome
  • Stay current on best practices in community outreach and employment programs, and implement changes as needed to improve program effectiveness

Qualifications:

  •    Four years of fulltime employment experience in delivery of services for individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD); OR an Associate’s degree with two years of relevant experience with major course of study in education, social work, psychology, health or other discipline related to special populations; OR a combination of education and relevant experience; 
  •    Strong leadership and team management skills
  •    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  •    Experience working with diverse populations and/or individuals with barriers to employment
  •    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  •    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management software
  •    Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to employment programs and services
