Technology Support Specialist

Alphawave Semi is seeking a skilled Technology Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technology Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our employees and customers. You will troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to hardware, software, and network problems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, familiarity with Microsoft Operating systems and Office 365, Jira knowledge, and networking terminology.

What You'll Do
  • Provide technical support to end-users through various channels such as phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install and configure hardware and software
  • Create and maintain documentation for technical procedures and solutions
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex technical issues
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends
  • Assist with the administration and maintenance of systems and networks
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical support role
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Operating systems and Office 365
  • Familiarity with Jira and other ticketing systems
  • Experience with Linux support is a plus
  • Knowledge of networking terminology and concepts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with remote support tools is a plus


Salary and Benefits

We offer great compensation packages, including a salary that aligns with each candidate's skills and experience. Your contribution will be recognized with a base salary within the range of $105,000 to $135,000 annually, with the exact compensation within this range to be determined based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience and location.
