Sales Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model.
- Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order process issues.
- Communicate and collect accounts receivable.
- Develop new business and identify prospective customers.
- Stay informed about market conditions and competitor products.
- Drive to customers and prospects for product delivery.
Supervision:
- No direct reports.
Relationships:
- Internal: District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, VP of Local Sales, Accounting/Credit Department, Merchandising and Marketing, Operations, and Customer Contact.
- External: Customers, vendors, prospective customers.
Work Environment:
- Frequently outside the office environment working in the field visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1+ year sales experience preferred; foodservice industry experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to build relationships, cold call, and develop new business.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive and results-driven mentality.
- Problem-solving, organization, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient computer skills, experience using CRM tools preferred.
Education:
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
Certifications/Training:
- N/A.
Physical Qualifications:
- Must be able to perform physical activities including standing, walking, driving, sitting, lifting, carrying, stooping, squatting, kneeling, bending, grasping objects, and manipulating objects.
Compensation:
Base rate between $50,000.00 and $80,000.00, plus incentive compensation and benefits including health insurance, retirement, paid time off, and more.
