The Epic ASAP team supports the emergency departments and urgent care areas systemwide. You will collaborate closely with two other Epic ASAP analysts and together work on build, testing, training and bench support for Epic upgrades, enhancements and optimization.

Responsibilities include:

• Under general direction, participates on cross functional, integrated teams to troubleshoot complex problems across multiple domains.

• Designs, builds and tests system configuration.

• Translates business requirements into technical solutions.

• Conducts quality reviews of system builds.

  • Internal candidates
  • Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
  • Candidates with less than 1 year of experience
  • Must already have Epic ASAP certification
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met :
  • Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
  • Must remain in original department/specialty
  • Must remain in original Job Title
  • Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

• Excellent critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.

• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Required Certification/Registration:

• Epic ASAP and ClinDoc certifications/accreditations, OR at least one of the following Epic certifications/accreditations: ASAP and/or ClinDoc, with ability to obtain second certification/accreditation within 6 months of hire or 90 days after last class

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• Has led small projects or technical activities.

• Business acumen in functional area.

• Bachelors degree
