Epic Application Analyst

IDR, Inc. is in search of a dedicated Application Analyst to support one of our esteemed healthcare partners. This role offers a chance to be part of a substantial organization and engage in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Application Analyst:

  • Executing application configuration tasks assigned during the initial implementation of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Completing designated application tasks in alignment with the project timeline and milestones.
  • Conducting workflow analysis, system configuration, and documentation in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translating requirements and concepts into practical functionalities.
  • Proactively managing assigned tasks in accordance with the project scope and the build requirements established by the Epic Project Team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in all phases of application systems analysis, including workflow analysis, configuration, design, testing, interface knowledge, and programming activities.
  • *Active EPIC certifications in Care Everywhere and Orders and/or Orders Transmittal are mandatory.
  • Thorough understanding of inpatient and outpatient registration and scheduling processes, as well as hospital operations and their interrelations.
  • Solid grasp of registration and scheduling workflows and their integration with clinical processes.
