Essential Functions

  • Answer all incoming phone calls
  • Manage all office equipment
  • Process and distribute all incoming mail and parcels
  • Coordinate the delivery of all outgoing mail and parcels
  • Respond to general e-mails when appropriate and/or ensure general e-mails receive a response from the appropriate individual
  • Perform clerical and support duties as needed for the Station Manager
  • Be a host for station guests
  • Assist with event planning and logistics as needed
  • Manage various aspects of station finances using Oracle
  • Process gifts received
  • Data entry
  • Keep an inventory of office and promotional supplies and reorder when necessary
  • Update content on the station website, Facebook, and Twitter accounts
  • Represent WDLM at promotional events
  • Special duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Able to work in the US legally without sponsorship.
Preferred Requirements
  • Some college
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Communication skills including written and oral
  • High attention to detail for organizational and project management


Work Environment/Conditions

This job operates in a professional broadcasting environment. This role routinely uses standard office and broadcast equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This is a part-time position: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Some travel is expected for this position.
