Responsibilities:

Working as part of the People Team, the People Coordinator will support various areas within the People Dept including but not limited to onboarding, recruitment, policies and other duties as assigned.

  • Provides and processes all paperwork as it relates to onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Plans and coordinates the employee onboarding process
  • Runs background checks
  • Tracks HR mandated trainings
  • Conducts 30 day interviews with new employees
  • Provides support to recruiters by posting jobs, scheduling interviews and additional items as needed
  • Expert on our HRIS, UKG
  • Maintains all employee files and HR drives
  • Preps Leave of Absence paperwork
  • Acknowledges employee milestones and life events
  • Pulls reports as needed
  • Updates and tracks time off requests
  • First point of contact for employee inquiries
  • Provides Employment Verifications as requested
  • Administers various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, HSA, dental,vision, accident and disability, life insurance, and 401(k).
  • Maintains employee benefits filing systems and ensures benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.
  • ACA processing and reporting
  • Updates our HRIS, UKG, with all personnel changes
  • Responds to Unemployment Notices
  • Coordinates timecard reconciliation and personnel changes for payroll
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Provides overall back-up support to People Team

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in an HR role
  • Experience processing time cards preferred, but not required.
  • Strong G Suite skills
  • Entertainment Industry experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with UKG, slack and Filemaker Pro a plus
