IDR is hiring for one of our largest clients in the engineering market for a new Technical Support Engineer. This role will allow you to display your working knowledge of networking systems and manage the communications for all onsite technicians. Note: This role will be hybrid out of the following cities - Huntsville, Alabama or Alpharetta, Georgia or Hickory, North Carolina.

Qualifications for the Technical Support Engineer:

  • Proven knowledge with IT Cares, ServiceNow or other call center applications.
  • Experienced in client LAN/WAN environments and standard wiring, including DHCP, DNS, TCPIP Fundamentals and NAT/PAT, private/public IP address space.
  • Experience utilizing video, web and audio conferencing for communication purposes.
  • Operating knowledge of both MacOS and Windows systems.
  • Troubleshoot and installation experience with access control systems.
  • Activating and maintaining CCTV cameras, and related systems.
  • Ability to work with onsite technicians and manage their responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of process manuals and system documentations as needed.
  • Certified in Brivo, 3X Logic, and S2.
