Job Description:

The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for executing declarative tasks within projects.

The Senior Salesforce Developer will receive work from other team members or clients and provide recommendations on sound solutions to solve complex business problems directly.

The Senior Salesforce Developer is expected to maintain deep technical knowledge of capabilities and features to create platform patterns and technical best practices with the goal of increasing adoption, operational efficiency, and realized business value for the Client and Financial Services.

The level of work required is considered advanced.

The Senior Salesforce Developer is expected to develop Salesforce platform components, capabilities, and features, especially using Salesforce Experience Cloud.

Your Responsibilities:

Work with business and technology partners to identify, define, interpret, and clarify the scope of Salesforce platform integrations.

Perform development of Salesforce platform components, capabilities, and features, especially using Salesforce Experience Cloud.

Develop Lightning Web Components.

Maintain a strong handle on APEX coding and user interface development.

Drive design, engineering, implementation, and configuration of platform services to support overall enterprise patterns and reinforce best practices.

Deliver explicit APIs and abstractions that offer flexibility for application developers in leveraging the platform.

Partner with Information Security representatives to develop, implement, and/or execute security configurations and controls.

Support and refine the utilization strategy for the platform and enhance its overall architecture, security, performance, and financial aspects.

Contribute to platform, product, and architectural roadmaps.

Platform Administration:

Perform development of common Salesforce platform components, capabilities, and features.

Conduct advanced configuration activities, including custom objects and fields, dashboards, reports, workflows, rules, automations, and triggers.

Experience with Salesforce screen flow and login flow.

Create integrations and/or connectors between Salesforce.com, FRS, and other 3rd party applications.

Manage the core security model configurations in accordance with information security guidelines.

Operational Excellence:

Provide Tier 3 support for core platform services and configuration defect resolution.

Perform new Salesforce release evaluations and assess impact.

Develop and maintain automation for deployments to reduce manual processes and improve efficiencies across systems and data centers.

Lead solution design discussions, develop work effort estimates for implementation, and present solutions.

Draft and maintain solution documentation for platform components, integrations, and common use patterns to meet all architectural, security, and operational requirements as defined by the larger Client Reserve System.

Provide training, coaching, and support for issues relating to the Salesforce platform to experienced and product teams.

Your Background:

Experience in the CRM, Customer Support, Sales, and Marketing domains.

Experience with the overall Salesforce platform and working knowledge of Salesforce integration approaches.

Experience delivering Salesforce solutions from design to production.

Experience integrating Salesforce with 3rd party solutions.

Experience engineering solutions across heterogeneous datacenter, cloud, and SaaS environments.

Experience using standard development practices.

Experience with change management systems and processes.

Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and problem-solving.

Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell or shell scripting).

Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.

Platform certification is a plus.

Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is highly desired.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

5+ years of direct work-related experience.

Top 3 Hard Skills:

Perform development of common Salesforce platform components, capabilities, and features specifically using Salesforce Experience/Community Cloud (Salesforce Lightning Web Component, Apex, OOAD, Unit Test, CI/CD Pipeline).

Maintain a strong handle on APEX coding and user interface development using CSS.

Experience delivering Salesforce solutions from design to production using Agile/SAFe processes.
