The Operations Specialist will be part of the Administration team and will lead our operations work within that team. As owner of operations, they will be responsible for personnel, training and evaluation, organizational engagement, business operations, office and space management, and a number of special programs. The Operations Specialist's top priorities will be: Personnel -Developing and implementing all processes related to the employee lifecycle, including relationship building, position development and posting, selection, onboarding, separation, and workforce planning. Training and Evaluation -Developing, coordinating, implementing, and assessing need for training programs, speaker series, and workshops designed to enhance employee skills and knowledge, with a particular focus on staying current with university practices, improving job-specific skills, and imparting knowledge regardingLEOresearch and methodologies. Project managing the university's annual goal setting and performance evaluation process acrossLEO. Organizational Engagement -Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting employee engagement initiatives and activities withinLEOand supporting engagement with the College of Arts and Letters and the university. Business Operations -Overseeing business operations and administrative processes withinLEO. Developing and implementing policies an procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Secured $16.8 million in research funding and support from private foundations and government sources. Forged partnerships with innovative providers of services to people living in poverty across the country. Developed an extensive nationwide network of faculty affiliates. In the next few years, we plan to grow significantly: increasing our project portfolio and continuing to strengthen LEO's reputation as the gold standard of research in this area. Qualifications: The Operations Specialist owns the achievement of LEO's administrative goals.
