Coordinates the purchase and control of supplies and equipment with occasional guidance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifies, locates and purchases materials, supplies and equipment in a cost effective manner. Completes necessary purchasing documentation.

• Maintains accurate inventory of assets and supplies. Forecasts inventory needs.

• Prioritizes purchase requests to provide timely delivery of necessary products.

• May maintain product information and warranty files.

• May be responsible for patient charge capture for dispensed medical supplies to ensure accurate patient billing.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES

• Data Entry (Intermediate): The ability to transcribe information from the original source into an electronic system according to written and verbal instructions efficiently and accurately.
