Position Overview: Property Claims Specialist

This role is designed for professionals with expertise in handling both Residential and Commercial property loss claims. As a key member of our organization, you will contribute significantly to our clients' recovery process, ensuring they receive the maximum compensation for their losses. Your duties will encompass a blend of field assessments and administrative responsibilities, with some travel required for comprehensive evaluations.

Job Title: Property Claims Specialist

Reports to: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance company representatives to optimize client claims
  • Perform on-site evaluations of damaged properties and assist clients in reconstructing inventories
  • Leverage Excel for pricing and managing inventory claims
  • Maintain organized client files while providing outstanding customer service
  • Coordinate financial transactions with insurance providers and assess policy coverage
  • Engage in special projects as directed by the operations manager
  • Monitor critical deadlines using company Salesforce

Performance Expectations:

  • Enhance and refine our procedures for processing inventory claims
  • Achieve or surpass management standards for claim preparation
  • Adapt to various elements of inventory claims processing
  • Be ready for occasional overnight travel as necessary
