Tell me more about this role, what would I be doing?

POSITION SUMMARY:

Monitor the vendor assigned claims using the loss draft module. The monitoring process is based on various reports. Those reports will need to be analyzed to determine what the required actions are for each line item. The coordinator will either take action on those items or alert the vendor of the actions needed. All activity pertaining to the claim must be documented in the loss draft module.

Essential Duties and Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Analyze claims reports
  • Daily - Stale claim review, JIRA inboxes, paid in full research, clarification questions
  • Make outbound phone calls to follow up on claims
  • Monitor and respond to incoming emails
  • Understand and apply business rule requirements
  • Understand and apply investor requirements
  • Document claim activity in the loss draft module
  • Request disbursements for ongoing claims

Required
  • College degree preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • Computer knowledge required - Proficient in Windows based environment
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Customer Service skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Insurance/Mortgage Servicing knowledge helpful
  • Property insurance claim experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Attendance/Quality/Production must meet or exceed PFI standards
  • 1 year experience in the Loss Draft department
  • Knowledge and experience servicing more than 1 client
Preferred
  • Customer Service Experience
Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:
  • Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
  • Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day.
  • Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
  • Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day.

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including skills, experience, work location and more. We offer competitive pay while still allowing for compensation growth within the position and company.
