Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate front-end functions to ensure achievement of established revenue cycle metrics, consistent with excellence standards and practice workflows.
  • Perform and coordinate scheduling and registration, check-in and check-out, charge entry/claims, and end of day processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage daily staffing needs in coordination with office and float pool managers, ensuring adequate coverage and support for our patients and healthcare providers.
  • Act as a mentor and role model to colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless delivery of patient care and administrative services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of patient registration and scheduling tasks.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of patient demographic data, insurance information, and other relevant documentation.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations, ensuring the secure handling and storage of sensitive patient information.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a medical office setting.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications, with experience in electronic medical records and practice management systems.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
