Procurement Associate II (1103) Pay Range:$26..68 - $30.67 per hour At Hyundai Translead, webelieve the future of our organization lies within the hearts and capabilities of our team members. Job Summary The Procurement Associate II will perform tasks to support trailer manufacturing such as performing daily communication with suppliers, cost saving activities, data collection, data entry, and maintaining files. Essential Functions Be responsible for an assigned group of materials Update and maintain accurate material costs and freight costs in the price master system Record material cost and freight cost announcements and maintain price history data Support collection of data (supplier information, price, etc) Create purchase orders for RandD projects as needed. Follow through until delivered to final destination. Work with related departments to register new supplier in SAP Collect and store USMCA and Manufacture of Affidavit certificates from suppliers Update and maintain supplier information in master data Monitor price changes on purchase orders vs price in master data Support cost saving activities Submit RFQ to suppliers for Sales, RandD, Engineering, Aftermarket, and Warranty requirements Essential Functions (Continued) Update and maintain country of origin information in SAP Assist with preparation of internal/external audits Be able to provide training and guidance to junior level procurement associates Update and maintain country or origin information in SAP Assist junior level associates if needed Other duties as assigned Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma of equivalent 3 years of related experience Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask Preferred Education and Experience Requirements Supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with SAP Language Requirement None Travel Requirements UP to 20% The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
