Job Title: Supply Chain & Procurement Assistant
Location: Onsite
Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with carriers to manage shipments, monitor deliveries, and address any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Respond efficiently to customer inquiries and needs.
- Generate shipping labels for small package shipments in accordance with customer specifications.
- Ensure the prompt pickup and delivery of goods, adhering to established schedules and service standards.
- Maintain thorough documentation related to incoming products.
- Input sales orders and purchase orders into the inventory management system.
- Keep accurate records of shipment details.
- Track and follow up on order statuses throughout the supply chain.
- Conduct testing on samples, including shipping and folding cartons, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Document and communicate test results to the supervisor.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process enhancements within the supply chain.
- Implement best practices to streamline procurement processes, reduce lead times, and lower costs.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Hands-on experience with shipping carriers, scheduling shipments, tracking orders, and logging receipts.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with inventory management systems is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual in Chinese and English is a plus.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
