Job Title: Supply Chain & Procurement Assistant
Location: Onsite

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with carriers to manage shipments, monitor deliveries, and address any issues that may arise during transportation.
  • Respond efficiently to customer inquiries and needs.
  • Generate shipping labels for small package shipments in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Ensure the prompt pickup and delivery of goods, adhering to established schedules and service standards.
  • Maintain thorough documentation related to incoming products.
  • Input sales orders and purchase orders into the inventory management system.
  • Keep accurate records of shipment details.
  • Track and follow up on order statuses throughout the supply chain.
  • Conduct testing on samples, including shipping and folding cartons, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Document and communicate test results to the supervisor.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process enhancements within the supply chain.
  • Implement best practices to streamline procurement processes, reduce lead times, and lower costs.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with shipping carriers, scheduling shipments, tracking orders, and logging receipts.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with inventory management systems is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English is a plus.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
