Pay Range

USD $22.74 - USD $27.08 /Hr.

Overview

Due to growth, we are adding a Coordninator, Benefits and HRIS to our Human Resources department

The Coordinator, Benefits and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) will partner with the Director, Total Rewards and HRIS and other department associates to support the administration of our associate benefit programs and the HRIS systems. The incumbent is responsible for administering the day-to-day benefit enrollment activities of our associates (new hire and qualifying life events) and transactional processing within the HRIS, ensuring data integrity. This Coordinator will support the associate needs related to benefit enrollment, general questions, documentation and associate communications. Finally, the Coordinator will facilitate ad hoc and monthly reporting needs of the HR teams, benefit communication planning and email correspondence.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?
  • Supports day-to-day employee benefits, in accordance with benefit contracts and in accordance with FMLA, ADA, COBRA, Unemployment Compensation, Workers Compensation and other applicable laws.
  • Administers day-to-day associate benefit enrollment needs and approvals (new hire, qualifying life events, executive enrollments, and open enrollment) and manages collection of all required benefit supporting documentation according to policy and plan design.
  • Maintains the monthly billing and invoicing reconciliation and approval for payment.
  • Oversee and monitor various trackers for programs offered at Navitus (education reimbursement, volunteer programs, PTO Cashout, medical plan premium discounts, etc.)
  • Lead the general benefit inbox by assigning task responsibility for all incoming emails, answering associate questions following the benefit plan documents and supporting the associates' and leaders' needs.
  • Create, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries as required or requested, including monthly HR metrics and benefit enrollment numbers.
  • Review and approve associate changes submitted through Manager Self Service (MSS) related to associate address and location, supervisor, job codes, job grades, and other non-pay related changes.
  • Participate in process improvement activities and work in conjunction with HR team to build and enhance HR processes.

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • SHRMP-CP, PHR or CEBS certification preferred
  • One year of experience as a Human Resources professional required. Two years related benefit administration experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of/experience with HRIS products is strongly preferred (ADP Enterprise product, Workforce Now).
  • Experience with internal benefit communication planning and writing strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of general human resource programs, policies and procedures related to employee relations, recruitment, compensation, benefits, EEO/AAP administration, FMLA administration.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
