Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Wasserman Live is searching for a creative, organized, and experienced Associate Manager, Account Operations to join our team of event professionals in delivering best in class experiences for our regional grocery store client. The Associate Manager is responsible for maintaining and inventorying all client's assets and premiums, receiving and sending shipments, make deliveries and pickups, and assisting with event scheduling, pulling and loading. This role will also assist with event planning and attend events with the brand team and client as needed.

The successful candidate thoroughly understands each project to assist with getting the activation event out the door while providing recommendations, solutions, and feedback to all parties.

This position will require up to 30% travel.

Responsibilities:
  • Stay engaged with the brand team and support what's needed of each client activation from concept creation to onsite execution
  • Join internal and external stakeholders and support the needed requests of technical, operational, and logistical needs based on client event needs
  • Manage all incoming event signage
  • Assist in determining staffing needs for upcoming events and create detailed schedules for contractors, team members, vendors, and other necessary parties
  • Join all client meetings to understand each project and what is needed for each project
  • Conduct research as needed for client event needs
  • Create lists, schedules and layouts for internal needs for project
  • Prepare activation materials and partner with the Experiential and Logistics and Operations teams to prep for transportation
  • Work with internal Creative team to design event renderings and signage needs
  • Work with internal Fabrication team to design props or other event items
  • Work with internal Technical team to provide the necessary tech support or items (audio, video, lighting) for each event need
  • Work as a team to manage Asset Inventory: Track assets and report any issues with repairs, shortages, etc.
  • Oversee clients storage contents - warehouse bays and storage trailer and keep it inventoried and organized.
  • Oversee clients transportation vehicles and ensure they are clean, in working order and organized
  • Oversee shipping and receiving of client premiums and other items as needed
  • Travel as needed to collect items from client's corporate headquarters
Onsite event management:
  • Provide direction and delegate to onsite staff to ensure successful execution of event activation
  • Assist with the setup and tear down of event activations as needed
  • Manage the staff that will be loading and unloading process to ensure safe loading procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years of event production or event management required
  • General knowledge of AVL production equipment and ability to understand and communicate basic technical production with internal team and clients
  • Self-starter/self-motivated
  • Skilled in communications, critical and creative thinking, and relationship management with clients, vendors, project managers, internal staff, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills and deep understanding of project management concepts for planning, monitoring, and executing
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Capable of taking initiative and being highly adaptable and agile in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Experience with Flex is a plus
