CareStaff Partners is partnering with a well-respected School District in Clackamas, OR that is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Assistive Technology Specialist for a contract position. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive, and professional environment and work in a fast-paced setting.

Assistive Technology Specialist Position Details:
• Start Date: August 2024
• Hours: Full-Time (35 hours per week)
• Contract Duration: Full School Year
• Pay Package: $47-55 per hour based on experience

Assistive Technology Requirements:

  • Must have 1 yr experience as an AT/ACC
  • Current Oregon Teaching License with appropriate special education endorsement, Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, or Licensed Occupational Therapist
Assistive Technology Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive AAC evaluations, device recommendations, and implement a comprehensive communication system
  • Be willing to train teachers, staff, and caregivers on how to use AAC devices
  • Fulfill other assistive technology roles
