Job Description

SCOPE OF POSITION
The IT Desktop Support Analyst III position is responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance the workstations as assigned. They will be required to be able to perform all duties including the upgrading and installation of software, installation of hardware or hardware components and assisting the customer with various computing duties to include the support of mobile devices. The Analyst III should be able to take the lead in these activities including the ability to prioritize workloads, assist others within the team, and be able to handle move, add changes requests independently. This person should be comfortable in working with all customers and patients when required and handle difficult and complex problems, tasks or issues. They should be able to communicate effectively and able to handle difficult or stressful situations professionally. This person will work with other analysts or team members to assist with any troubleshooting or problem determination tasks and will be able to handle more complex and challenging problems.. This person should be aware of inventory levels and work with other facilities to obtain needed stock to maintain a just in time inventory; often also working with Finance. The team member should be able to identify possible cost saving measures and bring them to management attention as relevant including solutions. They should be comfortable utilizing the problem tracking system including assisting others in assignment, workload and workflows and completing metrics for the team as required. Works on assignments that are semi-routine where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. On-call rotation is a requirement of the position. The Analyst III will be required to complete other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent is required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Four years of IT work experience preferred or six years of IT work experience if no degree.
Relevant industry certificate is preferred
