What you'll do: Work with a diverse range of K – 12th grade school-aged clients, tailoring services to meet their unique needs and developmental stages. Assist and evaluate students in speech, articulation, fluency, and language development, employing a holistic approach to enhance their communication skills. Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and other school personnel to implement targeted interventions, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to student progress. Conduct assessments and provide comprehensive reports highlighting areas of strength and improvement, focusing on aspects of voice, speech, and fluency for informed decision-making. Develop unique treatment plans with a child and family-first mentality, considering the individual needs and circumstances of each student and their family. Actively participate in and/or conduct Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering valuable insights and recommendations to support students' communication goals and objectives. Adhere to confidentiality guidelines in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations, ensuring the privacy and security of information related to children and their families. What You Bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or Related Field Valid CA Speech Language Pathology Therapy (SLP) or SLPA license Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and other professionals Strong leadership skills Who You Are: Mission-driven: You are dedicated to our mission and understand that providing excellent care to children with autism is at the core of everything we do.
