We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to fill a critical role in our organization.

Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: California, Maryland

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve communication skills
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to ensure effective communication and support
  • Participate in educational planning meetings to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Provide training and resources to support communication development and literacy skills
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and treatment plans
  • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Maryland state license or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for speech and language disorders
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

  • Maryland state license or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Maryland Department of Education certification
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field
