Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Per Diem

Compensation:
$60 - $65 per hour

Sign-on Bonus: $2,500


At California Rehab OP Hub, we specialize in delivering exceptional care to individuals with neurological impairments or disorders, including but not limited to strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other related conditions.

Our approach emphasizes a coordinated, multidisciplinary model of care, where our team collaborates closely to provide Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology services, ensuring a seamless transition throughout the continuum of care.

We are seeking a dedicated SLP who is passionate about contributing to our clinic's growth, committed to delivering high-quality patient care, values teamwork and communication, and is capable of working independently.

Candidates with experience in adult neuro rehabilitation are preferred, although other applicants may be considered. Specializations are advantageous but not mandatory.

Applicants must be proficient in treating various aspects of adult SLP practice, including cognitive, speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5:15 pm, primarily focusing on one-on-one patient care. Please note that this schedule may adjust based on patient needs and market demands.

We are currently unable to accept Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role within a proactive, multidisciplinary team.

Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

This role requires critical thinking, complex problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously.

Duties Include:


- Facilitating a smooth transition between inpatient and outpatient settings while optimizing the continuum of care.

- Assessing patients' capabilities and developing tailored intervention plans to address swallowing, speech, language, and cognitive challenges.

- Implementing therapeutic procedures and utilizing modalities or equipment to enhance speech, swallowing, and cognitive functions.

- Efficiently managing work processes by completing tasks and assignments punctually.

- Consistently finalizing post-intervention activities, including documentation, communication, and charge capture.



Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.

- Certification in BLS/CPR must be obtained within 90 days.

- Preference will be given to therapists with a background in adult neuro rehabilitation.
