Key Responsibilities:


Engage with a diverse population of K – 12th grade students, customizing services to address their specific needs and developmental milestones.

Evaluate and assist students in areas of speech, articulation, fluency, and language acquisition, utilizing a comprehensive approach to enhance their communication abilities.

Work collaboratively with classroom educators and other school staff to implement focused interventions, ensuring a unified strategy for student advancement.

Conduct assessments and prepare detailed reports that highlight strengths and areas for growth, concentrating on voice, speech, and fluency to inform decision-making.

Design individualized treatment plans with a child and family-centered approach, taking into account the unique circumstances of each student and their family.

Actively engage in and/or lead Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support students' communication objectives.

Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and State/Federal regulations, ensuring the privacy and security of sensitive information related to children and their families.


Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field
Valid California Speech Language Pathology Therapy (SLP) or SLPA license
Preferred experience in clinical or educational settings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, families, and colleagues
Demonstrated leadership abilities
