The Marketing Specialist focuses on enhancing organizational visibility and brand impact with the direction of the Marketing Manager. Collaborates with the Marketing Manager to discuss, refine, and implement business strategies, practices, and policies to support service lines in creating opportunities for people with disabilities.

This individual has exceptional communication skills and can work collaboratively with SMEs to contribute to the organization's success by efficiently managing projects, enhancing brand presence, and optimizing marketing strategies through effective communication and coordination.

The Marketing Specialist will be assigned to the corporate headquarters. However, routine travel to other Didlake locations may be required. Some local travel for meetings and events is also required.

Discuss business strategies, practices, or policies with Marketing Manager. Develop and maintain project schedules and project management systems, including all administrative tasks and sites for specific projects. Adheres to brand guidelines.

Proficient in project management and event management, utilizing StarNet and Smartsheet to organize and track Corporate Communications Marketing Department brand plans. Proactively demonstrates a commitment to efficiency by managing administrative tasks and maintaining project schedules.

Utilize StarNet and Smartsheet to track and organize Corporate Communications Marketing Department brand plans. Author and update Standard Operating Procedures related to the position's responsibilities. Identifies, updates, and maintains online directory listings. Updating the departments project management system. Documents and catalogs delivery of project accomplishments. Identifies roadblocks in project plans and assembles resources to minimize impact.

Gather information to determine a marketing or advertising campaign. May gather information on marketing methods, employ search marketing tactics, analyze web metrics, and develop recommendations to increase search engine ranking and visibility to target markets.

Coordinates and monitors the organization's participation in communications and marketing-related events (trade shows, networking events, current Chamber of Commerce memberships, community, and affiliates events. Capable of matching and recruiting appropriate staff to attend events and coordinating with the Administrative Assistant to register attendees.

Creates and maintains stakeholders register for projects. Coordinate sponsorship participation, including completing signature applications, coordinating payment, informing the team of sponsorship deliverables and due dates, providing names of event attendees, and sending required materials (ads, logos, etc.) related to sponsorship.

Communicate and register vendors. Order approved marketing materials and supplies cleared through the brand manager. Adheres to budget. Works with the Marketing Manager to reconcile invoices to ensure the business unit stays within the allotted budget. Oversees inventory management.

Assemble marketing materials such as corporate display, collateral, promotional items, etc., for the Administrative Assistant to disseminate. Directs and coordinates activities and resources for projects impacting multiple departments and projects.

Supports the coordination, setup, ordering of supplies, and breakdown of corporate events. Attending events, if needed.

Establish business management methods. Social Media content creation. Analyze consumer trends. Analyze industry trends. Collect images and enter SM calendar posts into Hootsuite.

Monitors Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google My Business, Hootsuite, Yext, Facebook, Instagram, Active Campaign, Constant Contact, and Didlake Imaging WordPress.

Compiles monthly marketing scorecards for each service line entity and monitors business indicators. Measure the effectiveness of business strategies or practices.

Updates and maintains donor and contact database. Collect, organize, and prepare information for the board report.

Conduct surveys within organization brands/departments and compile reports.

Maintains Didlake Corporate Calendar by keeping it up to date with corporate events. Detailed calendar management and scheduling support.

Requirements

Education:

BS/BA degree and two ( 2) years of related experience in communications, and event management or a High School Diploma with 4 years of related experience.

Skills and Abilities:

Strategic Administration and Management: Proficient in applying business and management principles for strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources modeling.

Demonstrated ability in information ordering, effectively arranging, and organizing details and concepts.

Proficient in mathematical reasoning, skilled at choosing the appropriate mathematical approaches to solve problems in marketing analytics and data interpretation using Microsoft Excel.

Sales and Marketing Expertise: In-depth knowledge of principles and methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling products or services.

Experienced in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, utilizing effective tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques, and implementing sales control systems using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrated expertise in understanding customer needs through thorough assessment.

Committed to meeting and exceeding service quality standards, focusing on continuous evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Language Proficiency: Strong command of the English language, including a deep understanding of its structure, content, meaning, spelling, rules of composition, and grammar.
