The USF Department of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors a diverse Division I athletic program focusing on student-athlete progress towards graduation, health, fitness, and emotional development. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Executive and Strategic Communications will develop and implement a communications strategy supporting cohesive messaging across platforms to advance the strategic plan of USF Athletics. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications/public relations strategy • Provide strategic counsel to promote thought leadership • Draft content for various platforms • Generate content for general and corporate initiatives • Develop a plan for consistent communications • Serve as spokesperson and liaison • Responsible for planning, production, and distribution of an annual Year in Review • Perform other duties as assigned POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM:

Bachelor's degree in related field with 4 years of experience; or Master's degree with 2 years of experience. FLSB1310 Equivalency: 4 years of relevant experience may substitute a bachelor's degree; 6 years for a master's degree.
