With six departments spanning Administration, Finance, Community Preservation and Development, Fire, Police, and Public Works, our team of 203 full-time positions, 27 permanent part-time positions, and 8 seasonal part-time positions work tirelessly to ensure the well-being and growth of our community.

The Management Analyst will be exposed to all facets of the Finance department and work closely with all City departments on their purchases. Reporting to the Finance Director, this position is responsible for administering the City’s procurement and grant policies in accordance with applicable statutes, ordinances, and policies. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing all aspects of the procurement process.

Maximizing the City’s allocation of external grant funding.

Ensuring regulatory compliance through innovative processes and internal coordination.

Assisting with the audit, budget, process improvement, and other finance department functions.

Candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, supply chain management, business administration, accounting, finance, or related field. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred. Municipal and/or professional level related experience is required. Procurement experience is preferred. Prior knowledge of Illinois municipal procurement practices is preferred; and certification as a CPPB or CPPO through The Universal Public Procurement Certification Council or related certification is preferred.

We offer a competitive starting salary range of $88,450 depending on qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefit package includes participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF), health insurance including medical, dental, prescription and vision (also available to dependents), life insurance, medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts, optional 457 plan participation, paid holidays, paid vacation, and tuition reimbursement.
