Overview:
The Program Management Analyst will deliver essential technical assistance to the Program Manager, Functional Leads, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads within a significant Department of Defense Weapons Accelerated Acquisition Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with systems engineers and Program Managers to develop and document action plans and milestones aimed at resolving technical challenges, ensuring their integration into the Program Integrated Master Schedule.
- Support the Program Risk Manager in identifying, documenting, and monitoring Program risks along with their respective mitigation strategies, adhering to relevant DoD instructions and Program Risk Management Plans.
- Utilize databases and Microsoft Office applications to manage, maintain, and disseminate technical and programmatic information as directed by the Program Manager, IPT, and Functional Leads.
- Conduct thorough analyses of information and provide recommendations backed by sound rationale.
- Leverage government-furnished data to create deliverables such as briefings, presentations, project reports, and visual aids.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Program Analyst roles supporting Systems Engineering initiatives within Naval Aviation.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management; alternatively, four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- At least two years of recent experience in Aviation Program Planning, focusing on Complex Budget Processes, System Acquisition, or Interdepartmental Procurement Requests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- A self-motivated individual capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment to meet dynamic requirements.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition Programs and the Systems Engineering Technical Review process.
- Familiarity with the DoD Risk and Opportunity management process.
- A diverse range of career experiences is advantageous.
Additional Requirements:
- Active Top Secret clearance is mandatory.
- Must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; U.S. citizenship is required.
