Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis within the manufacturing sector, with experience managing financial operations across multiple locations. This role will involve deep financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support our strategic objectives and enhance decision-making processes.


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Lead the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management to drive financial performance.


Reporting:

  • Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards for senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.


Multi-Location Coordination:

  • Collaborate with financial teams across different manufacturing sites to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting and data.
  • Analyze financial performance across locations and provide insights on cost control, efficiency improvements, and profitability.


Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain standardized procedures for financial reporting and analysis.


Compliance and Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.


Team Leadership:

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior financial analysts and other team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment within the finance team.


Qualifications:


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial analysis
  • Focus on manufacturing industry highly preferred
  • Proven experience with financial reporting and analysis across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.


Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
