Medical Call Center - ENTRY LEVEL

Family practice in Panorama City is looking for a medical call center specialist to join their team Experience with a call volume of 50+ calls/day is required. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain extensive experience ENTRY-LEVEL CANDIDATES WITH NO EXPERIENCE IN THE MEDICAL FIELD ARE WELCOME TO APPLY

REQUIREMENTS:

+ Bilingual in Spanish

+ Phone Experience

Job Description

+ Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (potential Saturday work if needed)

+ Answer up to 50 phone calls per day, providing information about healthcare services, insurance coverage, and medical procedures.

+ Assisting patients with scheduling appointments and managing the schedules to ensure timely access to medical services.

+ Cross train within patient registration.

+ Ensures smooth communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

+ Managing and resolving customer complaints, escalating complex issues when necessary.

+ Educating patients about health programs, preventative care, and the details of network providers.

+ Accurately documenting patient information and interactions in EMR system.

This is a fully on-site position in Panorama City, California.
