We are seeking an Events Marketing Manager to oversee retail event marketing in our Baltimore and Washington DC locations, supporting lead generation for kitchen and bathroom renovations with residential customers. This includes identifying weekly events, overseeing budgets, and building a team to attend each event with your presence. This is a management-level role that will report directly to the Senior Leader in this business unit. Job Responsibilities: Hire, train and develop staff to generate sales appointment for our Outside Sales team

Identify, negotiate, and attend various events (trade shows, fairs, festivals, community events, etc.) with the goal of lead generation within your full geographical market area

Responsible for budget forecasting, inventory management, and maintaining approved budget

Responsible for exceeding sales lead quotas based upon established KPIs

Operates with a sense of urgency, exercises sound judgment and seeks feedback to improve performance

Manage event representative schedules to ensure that event calendar is staffed for success

Partner with branch operations, marketing, and sales to grow strong brand presence within the market

Track and report event metrics to evaluate event team & individual performance.

Required travel up to 30%

Required to work weekends and/or evenings to support scheduled events

Job Qualifications High school diploma or GED

Ability to lift to 60 pounds

Demonstrates an intense drive, a commitment to excellence and a passion to succeed

Must be comfortable with travel to other offices (up to 25% travel)

Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company's insurance requirements

Ability to drive a box truck or large van

1+ years’ experience in event marketing, canvass, sales or lead generation

3+ years in a leadership position

Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company's insurance requirements

Strong negotiation, recruiting, and training skills

Proven record of holding oneself responsible and being self-driven in accomplishing business goals, adhering to policies and being responsible for one’s own actions, performance, and decisions

Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time

Strong planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail

Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
