Summary

The Accounts Receivable Accountant will perform accounting duties in the accounts receivable and credit and collection function, while assisting in general ledger accounting and accounts payable duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Process high volumes of transactions, remittances, and bank reconciliations. Perform multi-company accounting work in the accounts receivable and credit and collection function. Secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolving discrepancies. Process and reconcile account receivables and remittances. Create and update regular reports to accurately track financial information. Address payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies. Assist in general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and treasury duties as needed. Engage in collection management processes as necessary.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred. Minimum 2 years of accounts receivable and credit and collection experience. Experience with QuickBooks Desktop required.
