The Role: Identifies and researches potential referral sources in primary market area Establish and maintain strong relationships with key professional decision-makers/influencers in senior related industries. Utilize networking and outreach to generate leads Articulate the value proposition and competitive advantages of community through consultative selling Works with the community team, marketing agency and corporate resources (as applicable) in contributing to community marketing strategy for lead generation and lead nurturing/advancement - to include but not limited to: On-Site Events for prospective residents, referral sources, key influencers and community groups Provides content for social media channels to promote the community. Work in collaboration with PR agency and Director of Sales and Marketing Director to develop and execute a robust and ongoing Public Relations strategy In conjunction with the Sales and Marketing Director, collaborates, plans and executes all functions related to Resident Referral/Lead Generation/Resident Ambassador programs Maintains knowledge of senior living communities and health care providers in community's primary market Participates in community leadership meetings & owner meetings (as applicable) Utilizes Salesforce CRM system to capture contacts, interactions and track performance to goals. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends and competitive analysis Engage in direct selling activities with leads and prospects as assigned by Sales and Marketing Director.Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related field Experience with computer-based record keeping systems and word processing systems Ability to work independently without direct supervision Self-motivated Strong verbal and written communication skills Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of field and corporate staff, clients, and vendors Public speaking/presentation skills are required Extensive knowledge of business development and demonstrated proficiency in sales and marketing skills 5+years of experience in business development or marketing fieldPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:Normally works in well-lit, comfortable surroundings. Must be able to concentrate with frequent interruptions. Must be able to walk for up to 75% of the workday. Must be able to tour through the entire building including the ability to push an individual in a wheelchair.
