We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Life Insurance Business Development Specialist to join our team at Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company. As a key member of our Life New Business Specialist Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with producers and uplines, and develop strategies to drive sales growth.
- Training and Quality Review: Provide training and coaching to Life New Business team members, conduct quality reviews, and develop procedures and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Escalated Issues: Handle escalated phone calls, resolve complex service issues, and provide guidance on software usage and web initiatives.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product and processing guidelines, provide proactive support to producers and uplines, and resolve moderate to complex sales/operational needs/inquiries.
- Team Leadership: Assist with successful training, coaching, and quality review of Life New Business team members, and serve as a back-up in the Team Lead or Manager's absence.
- Education: AA or BA degree preferred, or relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience working in the insurance or financial services industry, with at least 2 years of life insurance experience.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build new skills and adapt to new ways of thinking, and proficiency in digital techniques, methods, and tools used at F&G.
