Position Sales Staff (Account Manager) Full-Time Exempt

Sales Promotions • Achieves established sales goals by maintaining sales volume and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors. • Conducts sales activities with customers focusing on a future/potential business. • Provides on-the-ground support for subordinates as they generate leads and close new deals. • Negotiates and coordinates of contracts and its content, such as terms and conditions and rights/obligations, with customers. • Meets with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company's relationship with them. • Continually develops knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition. • Continually assesses current business distribution channels, develops and evaluates their performance and manages conflict ensuring alignment with sales plans. • Actively participates in a meeting and maintains smooth communication with both production and technical teams. • Builds a strong relationship with key personnel of the customers and/or potential customers. • Recommends price schedules and discount rates. • Establishes contacts with various types of employees including engineers at both current and potential customers. • Conducts credit management regularly. Customer Supports • Investigates trends in order placement or vendor managed inventory consumption based on operating conditions and production plans. • Informs factories regarding customers’ inventory status in order to shorten the shipping time when orders are received. • Provides price quotes, proposals, and notify credit terms to customers. • Makes presentations or demonstration regarding products. • Identifies and resolves customer concerns; Resolves customer’s’ complaints via phone and/or email. Inventory Control • Supports managing inventory and physical inventory counts of assigned customers. • Prevents the increase of slow moving and dead inventories. Collection • Supports or assists A/R personnel and/or Accounting Dept. for collection related duties. • Supports collecting payment from delinquent customers.

QUALIFICATIONS/CONDITIONS EDUCATIONAL: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. WORK EXPERIENCE: Sales related work for more than 2 years preferred TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS / DOMESTIC;INTERNATIONAL
