SUMMARY: As an Account Manager/Sr. Account Manager, you’ll support the Sr Sales Manager/Sales Manager/Sr Account Manager in account development. You’ll also take ownership of the customer revenue pipeline with deep understanding of customer business. In addition, you’ll coordinate technical support to develop specific account strategies with direct factory interface.


RESPONSIBILITIES: The key focus and responsibilities will be to strategically develop and strategize new customer business, increase market share with existing customers, and penetrate accounts. Other responsibilities include preparing RFQ/RFP response with strategic pricing proposal, development, and manufacturing plan to penetrate more businesses, negotiating SOW/Legal contracts, including but not limited to pricing targets, terms and conditions of product specification, development resource and qualification timeline. Other roles include preparing quarterly reviews, sales forecasting, market analysis and business opportunity/risk analysis, capacity and capital expansion plan by statistical and demand modeling. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing product development and production throughout the product life cycle from POC to EOL, with coordination between customers and cross-functional supporting teams, and also in charge of sales operations and supply chain management. This responsibility will include continual assessments of the services we offer our customers and our customers’ needs with ASE. Candidates must have a general understanding of electronics industry backend assembly, packaging, module, PCB and manufacturing business, or similar business model. Able to manage key accounts and have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must enjoy working with people and be able to make sales presentations and proposals. Good organizational and computer skills with the ability to summarize weekly activity in report format will be a requirement for this position. This position requires you to be very motivated and have the ability to work in a team environment and have a general understanding of the assembly and test flows. You must be presentable and project a professional image.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Account Manager- ASE prefers a BS degree and/or 2-4 years of sales experience or equivalent, with a general understanding of the IC assembly and test process in the semiconductor industry. Sr. Account Manager - ASE prefers a BS degree and/or 4-6 years of sales experience, with a strong understanding of the IC assembly and test process in the semiconductor industry.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


COMPUTER/SOFTWARE SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Fluent in English and good communication skills are required, fluency in Mandarin is a plus.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must have basic math skills.

COMPENSATION: Base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $105,000 for Account Manager and $105,000 to $125,000 for Sr. Account Manager. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and various factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
