Job Summary

The primary objective of this position is to ensure the accuracy and timeliness for month end close, journal entries, account reconciliations and to provide financial reporting and analysis, technical accounting guidance, and audit support to client bottlers.

Support the General Accounting Center of Excellence (COE) team primarily in the areas of Cash and Fixed Asset accounting and support additional accounting areas within the COE as needed to include, but not limited to: Payroll, Equity investments, Long Term and Short Term notes, Workers Compensation and General Liability Insurance, Manual Accruals, GRIR accounting, AP and AR trade activity accounts, Miscellaneous A/R, Bad Debt Reserve accounting, Income Tax accruals, and other miscellaneous general accounting activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Execute the month end close process for assigned areas of responsibility, including monthly reporting, analysis and reconciliations while ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, integrity and quality of the financial statements
  • Partner, support, and continual training of an offshore team
  • Review complex and material reconciliations and entries completed by the offshore team
  • Cultivate relationships with assigned bottler for all general accounting activities for all areas above (bottler finance and operations team)
  • SME for CONA SAP system and RPA for Fixed Assets, point person for escalations for all CONA SAP Fixed Asset and RPA issues
  • Identify & implement agreed upon business process improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with General Ledger COE team, other internal finance process groups and external stakeholder partners
  • Ensure internal controls supporting areas of responsibility are in place and maintained to include required documentation, reporting and support for internal and external auditors
  • Partner with bottler to develop analytical reporting (PowerBI reporting)
  • Lead monthly fixed asset and cash related client calls

  • Knowledge of SAP, Blackline, Advance level Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Masters degree and/or CPA preferred
Years of Experience
  • Minimum 5 years finance and/or accounting experience (knowledge of SAP would be preferred)
Required Travel

Travel is not expected in this job, however, employees may be asked to travel for meetings or training on occasion.

Hybrid Work Environment

CCBSS operates a hybrid working environment. This is a teleworking role that requires working at a CCBSS office location on a regular basis (or a minimum number of days per month or week) at the manager's discretion. The number of days required at a CCBSS office location is at the manager's discretion and is subject to change depending on business needs.
